Properties and Applications: Red light yellow. Product melting point 134 ℃ soluble in ethanol for orange red, and soluble in acetone and benzene, insoluble in water. In concentrated sulfuric acid for magenta, dilution have orange precipitation; In concentrated hydrochloric acid in heating for red solution, cooling after dark green hydrochloride crystal precipitation, but in separation, will lose hydrogen chloride. Mainly used for hydrocarbon solvent, grease, paraffin wax, cellulose paint, styrene resin, petroleum products and soap kind of coloring.
