Unsung Performance from Week 1: Nick Boyle Nick Boyle has been largely disappointing since entering the league out of Delaware in 2015 Cheap Maurice Canady Jersey , and when the Ravens drafted two tight ends early in the 2018 NFL Draft, his prospects for a larger role in Baltimore’s offense this season dwindled. However, with an injury to first round selection Hayden Hurst, Boyle had the opportunity to shine early in Week 1. While a pass interference call prevented his first career touchdown, Boyle helped Flacco get in rhythm out of the gate by hauling in two receptions for 36 yards on the first two plays of the season. Boyle tied with Javorius Allen http://www.ravenscheapshops.com/cheap-au...own-jersey , Michael Crabtree and Willie Snead IV for a game-high six targets. With Flacco’s documented affinity for connecting with tight ends, Boyle serves as an important veteran presence while Mark Andrews acclimates to the league and Hayden Hurst recovers from a stress fracture in his foot. Averaging 13.3 yards per reception against Buffalo, Boyle also matched his career-long reception of 25 yards against the Jaguars in his rookie season on the first pass of the game. While Flacco is likely to target Boyle less as he becomes more comfortable with his new receivers and tight ends, his reliability and two first downs will go a long way to increase his chances to be incorporated into game planning moving forward. In a battle between heralded defense and celebrated offense, the Ravens host the Saints for one of their hardest matchups of the year. Will Baltimore spoil New Orleans’ winning streak or will the Ravens be overwhelmed by their fire power? The Baltimore Beatdown staff outlines some bold predictions for Week 7.Sage’s predictions:The Ravens will allow a second-half touchdown.Coming off a shutout victory over the Tennessee Titans Sam Koch Jersey , the Ravens face a far superior offense this week. Through five games, Drew Brees has a 122.3 passer rating, 11 touchdowns and an impressive zero interceptions. Even if Baltimore can contain one of the best statistical quarterbacks in the history of the game, running back Alvin Kamara has the ability to get hot and Mark Ingram has proven to be able to pick up the slack when Kamara struggles. John Brown will reach the end zone. Brown had his worst statistical game of 2018 against Tennessee, catching just two passes for 28 yards. His targets went from 14 in Week 5 against the Browns to only 3. His early success hauling in deep balls for Joe Flacco has forced opponents to more heavily game plan for the receiver. With Michael Crabtree re-establishing himself last week Cheap Maxx Williams Jersey , Brown should be able to break out once again. Vasilis’ predictionsKahkaha Atrew Brees will not record the 500th passing touchdown of his career. The Ravens six passing touchdowns allowed this year are the second fewest in the NFL, and none have come in Baltimore. And Brees has yet to toss a touchdown in an outdoor stadium this season. Lamar Jackson will throw a pass to Joe Flacco. The Ravens have been setting up a trick play throughout their first six games. Expect a lateral behind the line of scrimmage, and for Flacco to find John Brown deep downfield for a long gain.Kyle A.’s predictions:Joe Flacco will throw for 300+ yards.Much has been made of the Saints top-ranked rush defense; but on the flip side, they carry the 30th ranked passing defense in terms of yards. They’ve also given up 11 touchdown passes on the year, ranking 26th. It would not come as much of a surprise to see the number 10 passer in the NFL throw for over 300 yards Cheap Marlon Humphrey Jersey , especially considering he is averaging 298 yards per game.Alvin Kamara will gain 100 yards through the air. Baltimore’s defense has been pretty strong in both the running game and the passing game for the most part this season. However, there comes a point in time where certain matchups cause havoc for Baltimore’s linebackers. First, it was Cincinnati’s tight ends. Now, Kamara provides that challenge. The 23-year-old running back averages 70.2 yards per game in receiving. It would be tough to predict that the Ravens linebackers could keep up with his burst and quickness in the passing game.
